Hello all.
I would like to thank all those who voted for me as your D1 Director.
For 2012 we will have some changes coming to D1.
As some of you already know, the HIGH POINTS series format will no longer
be in effect for our 2012 season. Instead we shall have one single ‘’District 1 Championship Race’’ weekend per season.
This Championship format is more economical, fair, straight forward and will help bring racers together.
Each year the D1 Championship Race will rotate between clubs.
For example.
2012 – Elmira, NY (this is confirmed for June 9/10)
2013 – Northern Lights MBC ???
2014 – Ottawa Valley Racers ???
2015 – Medina, NY ???
I would encourage all the clubs to support other clubs events.
You support them and they will support you.
Now let's work as a big family and get D1 back on the map.
