This is the place to set some really fast straight line runs.
Really long run ups to set times with. The weather man says it should be a nice weekend, cool and our fuel engines just love that. |

The weather and water was perrrrfect for the event.
Things where moving along with some test runs in the 2.9 seconds until........ ... .. . A boat went a little wide on the front cute, making contact with the near side sensor Bits and pieces everywhere! No one was hurt but the timing eye was non-repairable and no spares on hand. Now that was a bummer. |

Bob sad to read about the incident with the timing equipment at your event. That was really a bummer. Man as wide and as long as that lake is from my being up there a few years ago I just can't see that happening, but Murphy can jump up and bite you when you least expect it. Hope you get the timing equipment fixed or replaced without to much expense out of your pocket. I might have to consider stopping by next year.
