8 boats required to make a US-1 class. Combination of Straightaway Time Trials, Two-lap 1/3-mile Oval Time Trials, followed by 4 days of National Championship Heat racing (beginning June 8th). Specific classes on specific days. Huntsville is a surveyed site so any records set during this competition will be official. Time Trials account for 50% of your score, heat racing will account for the other 50%. Compete in all events for your chance to earn a US-1 International Champion award. Participant can compete for National Champion if competing in heat racing only – some of the best heat racing that can be offered.
US-1 Awards, Excellence of Performance Award, President’s Cup for best single performance of 2 boats in heat racing, and the William LeFeber Sportsmanship Award.
Banquet on June 11th. Extra Banquet tickets and T-Shirts available. Entry fee increases after May 1. Entry Deadline: May 13, 2022.
Food trucks and Lemonade vendor will be available every day for lunch. Lodging and RV parking nearby.
