Each one-day event will follow a traditional three-round heat race format. The top three drivers of each class will be awarded with commemorative class decals. Free pizza lunch provide by the club!
GP Championship trophies will be presented to the series’ top class finishers at the final round’s podium ceremony.
Round 1 – Held June 1 in Madison, IN, hosted by PropWalkers Model Boat Club
Round 2 – Cincinnati, OH, hosted by Cincinnati Model Boat Club
Round 3 – Dayton, OH, hosted by the Dayton RC Model Boat Club (see Sept. 27)
Fees will be $50 to register for all 3 Rounds, or $20 for each individual round. Flat fees regardless of number of boats entered!
Classes available to racers will include, but is not limited to: Classic Thunderboat; Gas Cat; Gas Sport Hydro; Super Sport Mono; LSG Mono; P Sport Hydro; Q Sport Hydro; UL19 (this class will utilize Madison PropWalkers class rules); and all three divisions of Scale classes. Madison FE rules for all FE classes. 3 boats to make a class. Pre-registration is not required, but encouraged.
Races are open to all IMPBA members. NOTE: Points scored by drivers during the series will not be added to their points totals within the District 2 or 14 points series.
The races are expected to be a fun, relaxed atmosphere for new club racers, as well as seasoned drivers. Spectators welcome!
